Jacqui begun her pole fitness and dancing journey with Nouveau Dance Studio in 2011. She has taken part in a few competitions including the Pole Sports League and East Coast Pole, pole tricks competitions, and has also performed pole demonstrations for Nouveau functions on various occasions, as well as the Pole Unity shows for charity profits.
With an ongoing passion to constantly learn and improve her own pole skills, Jacqui has a love for teaching and helping people reach their personal goals, by sharing her gained knowledge through her pole experience through the years. Jacqui has been instructing at the Musgrave Nouveau studio since May 2014, and strives to continue growing from strength to strength, in both her personal and teaching capacities.
'I first started pole fitness classes out of a simple curiosity to try a new form of dance, and quickly became very much hooked on the sport. I strongly believe that pole fitness is the best form of all-over body exercise while incorporating the love of dance, bringing together elegance with a body strength that is built over time. The rewards of achieving your own pole goals is indescribable.'

Monika

BEGINNER INSTRUCTOR

Monika started with Nouveau Dance Studio 3 years ago and has been an instructor since 2015. Before she found her passion for Pole Dancing, Monika was an avid belly dancer. She enjoyed her dancing and progressed to the 6th grade in the dance form while at the same time teaching the beginner class of the studio. Her passion followed her to Nouveau Dance Studio. As she is always ready to tackle a new challenge mastering the art of pole dancing has become the new challenge. Monika says “No class is ever the same – we are always learning new and exciting moves and ways to transition into moves. Every person should be able to feel the exhilaration that is felt when you finally get a move right that you have been working on for months. It is an empowering form of dance which shows us what our true strength can be.”
Monika has partaken in various pole competitions in her short pole career, getting gold in both the Pole Poses and Pole Tricks that she has entered. She has also achieved Bronze in the 1st Pole awards that took place. Monika is still a ‘youngster’ in the pole industry and hopes to learn and grow in her own way drawing from the strength and experience of her fellow instructors. Monika enjoys choreography, both learning and teaching, and loves to find different and unique combinations which can always be found in her choreography.
Monika teaches a beginner class and loves all of her students. She feels truly blessed that she can be a part of their pole journey and development as individual dancers.
